Parish Praise

During the year 2007 - 2008 as a congregation and a team we have grown spiritually and numerically. Being part of Parish Praise is a very enjoyable, meaningful and challenging time as we seek to do God's will here.

We have looked at a variety of different themes including:
Love from God: Revelation 2: 1 - 7.
Helping others, in particular Asylum Seekers & those sold into modern day slavery: Luke 24: 13 - 32. (Zacchaeus).
Let your light shine: Matthew 5: 14 - 16.
Angels watching over us: Matthew 2: 13 - end. Escape to Egypt.
God loves you and you are important. Mark 10: 13 - 16.
Woman at the well. John 4: 15 - 24. Jesus meets with us.
Road to Emmaus. Luke 24: 13 - 32. Joy and how we can share it.

In addition Elaine joined us on Easter Sunday where the whole congregation was involved in sharing Communion. There is much to thank God for in the ministry of Parish Praise but the desire of the church at Saint Bartholomew's is: To know God better, to be wholly filled with His love and share His love with others. If we are to succeed in doing this as God's people in Binley then that must be the focus for us in Parish Praise.
As a team we need to come before Him and seek His will so we can work with the whole Church congregation in achieving this.
As a team we seek this unity of purpose. The Church as one voice sharing His love for the many in this city and in Binley particularly.
