Fairtrade. In 2007 approximately two thirds of purchases from the stall were for fairly traded products, which included food, gifts and writing materials. Once again St. Bartholomew's received the city's Fairtrade Certificate - displayed in the hall.
The video library has been well used, mainly by the younger members of the church. With the changing trends we hope to add some DVDs in the near future. Book Library. The church hall committee is kindly looking into a way to enable us to have better storage space so that the book library is easier to access. The library books have been sorted and we aim to have it open on Sunday & Thursday mornings following services and make it available to groups. We hope this will enable people to make greater use of it. Thank you to all who have supported the bookstall in any way throughout the year, your generosity has enabled us to buy some message posters for the notice board by the road. Thank you too to Claire for her assistance. Jill |
