Over the last year the All Age Worship Team have endeavoured to move the ministry into new areas. We were concerned that we could easily fall into a fairly predictable format. While in the main trying to be faithful to the lectionary readings we've also started looking at Bible characters and have been keen to make more of an effort to engage those who come to church irregularly or for the first time.
Some of the highlights over the last year have been:-
The good numbers at the services
The number of new comers who've continued to attend
The warm and positive responses we've received from people who have been at the services
The confetti cannons at the Crib Service were a particular highlight as well as some of the more creative ideas that we've tried to building into the services
From the teams point of view it has been an enriching experience to be part of the group. We've grown close as friends and enjoy putting together the programmes and looking to serve God in this way. We are actively seeking new members for the planning group to continue to bring fresh ideas and approaches
