The Ecclesiastic Parish of Binley, part of the Diocese of Coventry, is situated towards the eastern edge of the City of Coventry in the West Midlands County of England. Its boundary stretches beyond that of the city into the county of Warwickshire and is one of the largest in the area.
The present Church is relatively modern, being built in the 1770's, and is dedicated to St Bartholomew. Not much is known about this Saint, but Microsoft's® Encarta® Online Encyclopedia 2000 confirms the widely held belief that he was one of the apostles.
